Learn to Fly a Microlight
Learn to fly a microlight with Freedom Sports Aviation. We provide tuition on both fixed and flexwing microlight aircraft at Long Marston Airfield (photo), just 5 miles from Stratford upon Avon and 11 miles from the M40, junction 15. With three tarmac and grass runways we are able to fly irrespective of wind direction - ideal for microlight pilot training.
Your instructor will be Simon Baker, a CAA approved Instructor, three times World Champion pilot, Check Pilot and Competition Pilot for P&M Aviation. Simon has more than 8,000 flying hours experience. Tuition is one-to-one during daylight hours, seven days a week at times to suit you.
Flying instruction can be either on your own aircraft or one of the Clubs own aircraft. Most people use the Club’s aircraft.
Typically, students will fly for 1-2 hours per lesson with both pre and post flight briefings. Preparation for written exams is undertaken in the Club House.
